THE WATSON ROOM | TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Information supplied by the Hirer on The Watson Room Booking Form must be true and correct.

  2. The Watson Room may not be used for cosmetic related activities, such as face, nail, hair or feet grooming.

  3. The Watson Room may not be used for health related activities, such as physiotherapy or massage.

  4. The Watson Room is not suitable for pre-school aged children’s activities, such as playgroups.

  5. Payment must be made in full prior to use of The Watson Room.

  6. A unique access code to The Watson Room will be available from the start of the booked time, and will remain valid for the duration of the booked time. Hirers must ensure that sufficient time is booked to allow for set-up and clean-up.

  7. The Watson Room must be vacated at the agreed time. Extension of events beyond the booked time will incur additional fees.

  8. The Watson Room Cancellation Policy | Cancellations must be in writing | Cancellation of hourly or daily bookings are free up to 48 hours prior | Cancellation of weekly or monthly bookings are free up to 14 days prior | After these times no refunds will be given.

  9. Use of The Watson Room is at the Hirer’s risk.

  10. The Hirer must arrange their own Public Liability Insurance for events to be held in The Watson Room.

  11. The Hirer must arrange their own contents insurance for exhibitions or pop-up retail.

  12. The Hirer will be held liable for any damage or loss to The Watson Room.

  13. Food, beverages and alcohol may be served in The Watson Room, but may not be sold.

  14. The Watson Room and the adjoining courtyard are smoke free spaces.

  15. The use of paint, ink, glue, glitter, clay, plasticine, playdough, aerosol products, solvents, essential oils, incense, candles or helium-filled balloons in The Watson Room is prohibited.

  16. Portable equipment may be brought into The Watson Room for use during a booked event.

  17. Corporate logos may be temporarily fixed to the lectern, and must be removed without marking the lectern.

  18. No permanent fixings may be applied to the walls, ceilings, windows or doors of The Watson Room.

  19. Wheelchairs, pushchairs and prams are allowed in The Watson Room.

  20. No bicycles, roller blades, roller skates, skateboards, e-scooters or mobility scooters are allowed inside The Watson Room.

  21. No animals are allowed in The Watson Room, with the exception of guide dogs for the blind.

  22. Residential noise restrictions apply to the location of The Watson Room.
